Beneath the exterior, though, he has a relentless drive to protect the people he loves. Orphaned at a young age and recruited into the army for his abilities, Senel's life was harsh and unforgiving until he was 12 years old. Sent on a mission to kidnap Shirley, the legendary Merines of the Ferines people, Senel instead fell in love with her older sister, Stella. He soon abandoned his mission to live with the sisters. For a while all was peaceful, but his hope for a happy future shattered when soldiers attacked their village and Stella was presumed dead. Three years later Senel and Shirley, now calling each other brother and sister, shipwrecked on the shores of the mysterious ship-island, the Legacy. Shirley was immediately swept up into plots of political intrigue and racial tension that involved both the fate of the Legacy and the entire world. Senel was forced to learn the value of friendship as he fought to protect his sister. He was eventually successful, gaining a tight-knit group of companions along the way-- until, of course, he arrived in Luceti. Senel has a tendency to execute decisions before explaining them, sometimes with reckless results. Shirley and Stella's saftey is his priority above everything else, though his adventures on the Legacy made him much more mellow than he once was. He is more willing to accept the help of others, and to interact with those outside of his small family. Abilities: Senel is a formidable martial artist despite his slight stature, able to throw enemies many times his size. He retains his battle experience in Luceti, but his iron eres is limited to half strength. He has tried to learn to use Filial magic in a way to compliment his eres, but hasn't had much luck talking with the spirits. | |
